About the Role
Trans-Matic Mfg. Co is seeking motivated individuals for an Entry Level Die Setter position. This role offers a hands-on career with long-term growth potential, where you will be trained to build valuable manufacturing skills. No previous die setting experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support a variety of production functions to keep presses running smoothly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Learn the fundamentals of tooling and press operations.
- Set up and prepare production equipment.
- Work with tooling and manufacturing equipment.
- Read basic blueprints and production instructions.
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
- Keep work areas organized, clean, and safe.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including:
- Press functions (coolant, oil, greasing systems)
- Uncoilers and scrap removal systems
- Raw material handling and cleanup
- Clean and prepare presses for job setup.
- Help manage oil inventory, storage, and recycling systems.
- Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided).
- Support quality and safety standards throughout the manufacturing process.

- Mechanical aptitude and enjoyment of working with tools or equipment.

Qualifications
No previous die setting experience is required.
