Senior Associate CFO services

About the Role

CFO2Growth is a fractional CFO and finance advisory firm working with founder-led businesses across SaaS, biotech, aviation, healthcare, FMCG, logistics and coworking, in India. We act as the finance function for growing companies: MIS, budgeting, FP&A, investor reporting, compliance and strategic decision support.

You will be part of client engagements end to end, working on each client’s finance function: MIS, budgeting, reporting, compliance and advisory.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly MIS packs, variance analysis and management commentary for clients
• Build and maintain budgets, forecasts and financial models
• Review books of accounts, month-end closes and reconciliations for accuracy and audit readiness
• Support statutory, tax and regulatory compliance coordination with auditors and consultants
• Prepare board, investor and management presentations
• Identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities in client numbers and present them to founders
• Use AI tools to automate and speed up reporting, analysis and documentation

Qualifications & Experience

• Chartered Accountant with 0–2 years of post-qualification experience
• Strong statutory and/or internal audit exposure (Articleship included)
• Inclination towards MIS, budgeting and client advisory
• Advanced MS Excel (lookups, pivots, modelling) and strong MS PowerPoint skills
• AI-native: able to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) for analysis, modelling, reporting and documentation as a core part of daily work
