About the Role
Studio PMB Architects is a design-focused architectural practice committed to creating thoughtful, functional, and context-responsive spaces. Based in Mumbai, the studio works across a range of project types, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior team members in developing design concepts.
- Prepare drawings and produce presentations for client reviews.
- Create architectural plans, sections, and elevations.
- Assist with 3D models and visualizations.
- Coordinate design information with consultants and contractors.
- Contribute to design development.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documentation.
- Participate in site visits and inspections.
- Collaborate closely with the project team.
- Maintain organized project files.
- Support project management activities as needed.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency with architectural software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of design visualization tools.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design.
- Ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and models.
- Understanding of integration between architectural design and related disciplines (structure, MEP).
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Strong graphic, communication, and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and construction practices is an advantage.
- Internship or 0–2 years of professional experience preferred.
