Junior Architect

About the Role

The Junior Architect will support the design and delivery of architectural and interior projects as a full-time, on-site team member in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in concept development.
• Preparing drawings and 3D models.
• Contributing to design presentations.
• Coordinating with senior designers and consultants.
• Developing detailed construction documentation.
• Supporting site inspections.
• Helping address design and technical queries.
• Assisting with basic project coordination tasks, such as organizing design materials and maintaining project files.
• Ensuring design quality and alignment with client requirements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in relevant design software: AutoCAD, vray, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop.
• Willingness to learn new tools.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design.
• Understanding of Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to design tools, BIM platforms, or digital workflows.
• Basic Project Management skills, including organizing tasks, tracking deadlines, and supporting coordination among stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Strong visual, technical, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Openness to feedback and mentorship.
