Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role

• Collaborate across departments to develop automotive body structures and components.
• Balance performance, styling, manufacturing, and profitability considerations to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 3D models, layouts, and 2D drawings using CATIA.
• Manage part development activities with suppliers.
• Support part verification.
• Develop countermeasures.
• Estimate costs, weight, and investments throughout the development process.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• CATIA or similar CAD software.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment: Primarily office-based with some interaction in test labs, fabrication, and manufacturing settings. Occasional overtime and limited domestic or international travel may be involved.
