About the Internship

Candidates never see the logic behind Medinex Workforce's tools, but they feel it the moment it fails: a login that does not work, a form that loses their details, a status page that shows the wrong stage. This internship puts you on the team that builds the layer behind the screen. You will create APIs, work with databases and add the security checks that keep candidate and client data safe, and you will learn how professional backend teams design, test and maintain the services other tools depend on.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain REST APIs using Node.js and Express
• Design collections and write queries in MongoDB, and work with SQL databases where needed
• Add user login, token-based authentication, and role-based access control
• Validate incoming data and return clear error responses so the system fails gracefully
• Test endpoints with Postman and write unit tests for your code
• Debug server-side issues and improve the reliability of existing services
• Use Git and GitHub for version control and walk through your work in code reviews
• Share progress in daily check-ins and a weekly review

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript
• Understanding of how HTTP, REST APIs, and JSON work
• Basic knowledge of a database such as MongoDB, MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Careful, logical coding habits and patience when debugging
• Clear written English for documentation
• A laptop and stable internet connection for full-time remote work

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with JWT, Docker or cloud deployment
• Experience with Git and GitHub
• A GitHub profile or an API project you built

Qualifications

• Final-year students and recent graduates from B.Tech, B.E., BCA, B.Sc (CS/IT), MCA, diploma programs or related streams
• Self-taught developers who can show a project or certificate
• Freshers are welcome, and prior experience is not required
• You must be available full-time for the internship period

Additional Details

• Employment Type: Full-time internship
• Duration: 1 to 3 months
• Stipend: Up to INR 15,000 per month
• Workplace Type: Remote
• Location: India
• Working Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Saturday or as assigned by your reporting manager, with daily check-ins and a weekly review.
