SAP-MDG-Senior Associate

About the Role

As a SAP-MDG-Senior Associate at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will support data migration and data management work across SAP environments, helping clients move, clean, validate, and activate data for business applications. You will analyze complex problems, manage assigned workstreams, mentor junior team members, and build meaningful client connections. You will work on SAP data migration solutions, source data profiling, transformation routines, cutover activities, and post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing client data migration requirements and legacy data structures to shape SAP MDG solutions
• Designing data migration approaches, including transformation routines, for SAP ECC to S/4HANA programs
• Building, testing, and executing migration loads using SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC, and LTMOM enhancements
• Performing source data profiling and validation checks to identify data quality issues and target system fit
• Preparing technical specification documents for data migration jobs and related load activities
• Supporting data cleansing, dropout resolution, and validation through SIT, UAT, and cutover phases
• Conducting migration dress rehearsals, cutover tasks, and post go-live support activities
• Applying SAP BODS, Information Steward, Excel, SQL, IDOCs, BAPIs, and SnapLogic within migration and integration workstreams
• Advising clients on data management strategies and techniques for SAP-enabled transformation programs

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 2 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
• Demonstrating data migration delivery across SAP ECC and S/4 environments
• Building migration routines using SAP Data Services, LSMW, or Migration Cockpit
• Analyzing legacy data structures and validating preload and postload results
• Creating technical specifications for data services jobs and cutover tasks
• Supporting data cleansing, profiling, and dropout resolution using SQL and Information Steward

What Sets You Apart (Optional, but beneficial)

• One or more SAP certifications in SAP Data and Analytics solutions, including SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Warehouse (BW/4HANA), SAP Data Intelligence, or related data platform credentials
