About the Role

Studio Averra is a design-focused practice working across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, delivering both design and turnkey solutions from concept to completion. The studio offers exposure to diverse project types and client requirements across India, emphasizing thoughtful, functional design and close client collaboration. As a full-time Project Intern, you will support the design team on ongoing projects. This hybrid role is based in Mumbai, with a mix of in-studio work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with conceptual design.
• Prepare drawings and presentations.
• Coordinate project documentation.
• Research materials, products, and design references.
• Assist with site visits and measurements.
• Perform basic project coordination.
• Communicate with vendors under supervision.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in common design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
• Proficiency in presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote, or InDesign).

Qualifications

• Interest in architecture or interior design, with basic knowledge of design principles and project workflows.
• Strong research, organization, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in drawings and documentation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
• Willingness to visit project sites in Mumbai, coordinate with vendors under guidance, and adapt to a hybrid work arrangement.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Portfolio or samples of academic or personal design work will be an advantage.
