About the Role
- This is a part-time, remote role for a VLSI Design & Chip Architecture Trainer.
- The trainer will design and deliver structured online sessions on VLSI fundamentals, digital design, chip architecture concepts, and relevant tools.
- Content should be clear, current, and industry-aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare teaching materials and examples.
- Create and review assignments.
- Guide learners through problem-solving.
- Provide constructive feedback on learner work.
- Support learners via online discussions.
- Respond to learner queries.
- Help learners build practical skills applicable to VLSI and chip design roles.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong skills in Architecture and VLSI design concepts, including digital logic, chip architecture, and design flows.
- Skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and related software commonly used in chip and circuit design.
- Skills in Graphic Design and Graphics to create clear visual diagrams, schematics, and training materials.
- Solid Research skills to stay updated with advancements in VLSI technologies and incorporate them into training content.
- Experience teaching or mentoring in engineering or VLSI-related subjects.
- Ability to explain complex topics in a simple, structured manner.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Comfort with delivering live online sessions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Ability to manage part-time teaching schedules.
- Ability to maintain professional ethics and learner inclusivity.
Education
- Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, VLSI, Microelectronics, or a closely related field.
- Advanced qualifications or industry certifications are an advantage.
