About the Role

Team Members are essential to Tropical Smoothie Caf's mission of promoting a healthier lifestyle by serving delicious food and smoothies with a touch of tropical fun.

Key Responsibilities

• Interacts with Team members, customers, and vendors using DYNE's core values.
• Delivers Unparalleled Hospitality to each customer.
• Prepares ingredients for food and smoothies.
• Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafes standards.
• Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food.
• Sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations.
• Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and any other areas in the cafe.
• Operates the register, including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash, and being responsible for the drawer.
• Follows all safety and security policies set by the brand.
• Performs any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Flexible hours are available.
• Able to work starting at 5:00 AM or until midnight if required, based on cafe hours and availability.
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Smart, have integrity, drive, and enthusiasm.

Physical Requirements

• Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift.
• Bending, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.
• Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers.
• Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, stopping, overhead reaching and stretching.
• Lifting no greater than 50 pounds.
