About the Role
This is a remote internship role for a Video Editor at araastudio.in. The Video Editor intern will be responsible for assembling raw footage, trimming and organizing clips, and creating coherent, compelling video narratives aligned with project briefs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling raw footage
- Trimming and organizing clips
- Creating coherent, compelling video narratives aligned with project briefs
- Applying basic and advanced video editing techniques
- Adding transitions, sound, and visual effects
- Ensuring consistent color and style across videos
- Collaborating with designers and motion artists (as needed)
- Preparing files for different platforms
- Incorporating feedback from supervisors and clients
- Managing deadlines
- Maintaining organized project files
- Staying current with video trends and editing best practices
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Video Editing
- Skills in Video Production
- Skills in Video Color Grading
- Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics
- Basic knowledge of industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is preferred.
