About the Role
Join Walmart's dynamic pharmacy team as a Pre-Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience in patient care and community well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and records per Company policies and local, State, and Federal guidelines.
- Assist with processing prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases.
- Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Excellent ability to foster relationships with customers and pharmacy team.
- Capability to cater to individual patient needs.
- Enthusiasm for participating in community activities, outreach, and events.
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Preferred: Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
Additional Information
- Sign-on Bonus: $25,000 (2027 Grad Sign On Program)
- Hourly Wage Range: $21.50 - $34.50
- Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
- Other potential compensation: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ).
