About the Role
The Drone Technology Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. This intern will support the design, testing, and deployment of drone-related hardware and software.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, testing, and deployment of drone-related hardware and software.
- Assist in prototyping, system integration, and performance evaluation.
- Conduct research on drone technologies.
- Document technical findings.
- Configure and troubleshoot systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering and AI teams.
- Contribute to small project modules.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Maintain clear records of experiments, tests, and project progress.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve technical problems systematically.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting technical work clearly.
- Solid foundation in information technology, with familiarity in software, hardware, or networking relevant to drone systems.
- Basic project management and organizational skills to handle tasks, timelines, and reporting.
- Research skills to explore emerging drone technologies, standards, and best practices.
Beneficial Qualifications & Skills
- Coursework or hands-on experience in robotics, mechatronics, embedded systems, or UAV/drone technology.
- Familiarity with programming (e.g., Python, C++).
- Familiarity with sensor integration.
- Familiarity with simulation tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems.
