About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in the Pune Division. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to understand lifestyle needs, aesthetic preferences, and budgets, and translate them into functional, creative design concepts for residential spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing space plans.
- Creating mood boards and design presentations.
- Preparing detailed drawings and specifications.
- Coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selections.
- Working closely with project managers, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed accurately, timelines are met, and quality standards are maintained.
- Conducting site visits.
- Managing revisions based on client feedback.
- Staying updated on trends, materials, and technologies relevant to modern home interiors.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Experience managing multiple projects.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Working to defined timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills to create functional, aesthetic layouts for residential spaces.
- Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to develop detailed plans, elevations, and technical documentation for execution.
- FF&E skills to source, specify, and coordinate furniture, fixtures, and equipment aligned with design concepts and budgets.
- Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to present and justify design proposals clearly.
- A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in residential interiors will be an advantage.
