US Accounting Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented US Accounting Specialist with knowledge of US accounting principles and financial processes. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations as per US accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities in accordance with US accounting practices.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Process vendor invoices, verify bills, and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, statements, and accounting reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage general ledger entries and journal entries.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Handle billing, payment tracking, and collections.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with US accounting principles (GAAP).
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal finance teams.
• Work on accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar tools.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in accounting.
• Basic understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles.
• Knowledge of AP, AR, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Good command of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in the US night shift.
