About the Role
At El Pollo Loco, you'll bring the flavor to life as a Service Team Member, ensuring "Best in Class" customer service. You'll be the spark behind unforgettable experiences, whether greeting guests, assembling orders, or prepping food.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with restaurant team members and management to achieve operational goals, maintain a positive work environment, and uphold company standards.
- Greet and assist customers with their orders in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Continuously strive to meet or exceed customer expectations and satisfaction.
- Assist in preparing food items in strict compliance with company recipes and procedures, including assembly of menu items, shredding chicken, preparing salsa/dressing, and condiment packing.
- Process and assemble customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Use suggestive selling to complete the customer experience and increase sales.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support restaurant operations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Food Handler Certification: Obtain promptly upon hire, adhering to EPL policy and state regulations.
- Customer Service: Preferred but not required.
- Food Service: Preferred but not required.
