About the Role

At TELUS Digital, we are looking for freelancers with a background in Psychology to help make the internet a safer place. You will use your understanding of human behavior and mental health to check if AI-generated content is safe, helpful, and responsible. You are the "Human Compass" that helps the AI understand people better.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety Reviews: Review content flagged as potentially risky or harmful and decide if it follows safety rules.
• Behavior Analysis: Observe AI interactions with users and identify biased or unfair behavior.
• Risk Reporting: Identify "gray areas" where AI might give bad advice and suggest safer responses.
• Mental Health Awareness: Ensure AI recognizes sensitive topics and handles them with care.

Qualifications

• Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Native Language: Native-level proficiency in your primary language, including understanding cultural and emotional nuances.
• English Proficiency: Basic (B1) English for reading project guides and safety rules.
• Skills: Empathy and logic, with the ability to understand emotions and spot risks.

Assessment

• Subject-specific qualification exam.
• ID verification.

Payment

• Pay rates range from $20 - $50 USD per hour.
• Payment terms are defined for each project.
