About the Role
The Finance Associate will support daily financial operations at Apollyon Dynamics, a pioneering DeepTech defense company. This full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad involves preparing, reviewing, and maintaining financial statements and reports, assisting with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily financial operations.
- Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements and reports.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Perform variance analysis and cost tracking.
- Gather financial data from cross-functional teams.
- Support audits.
- Help maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to financial planning.
- Generate management reports.
- Clearly communicate financial information to stakeholders.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Excel
- Financial modeling tools (beneficial)
- Zoho Expense or any finance tools (nice to have)
Qualifications
- Strong Finance knowledge.
- Ability to interpret Financial Statements.
- Solid Analytical Skills for financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with Financial Reporting, including preparing periodic reports and management summaries.
- Clear and effective Communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (recommended).
- Ability to work with attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, compliance standards, and audit processes (preferred).
- 1-2 years of work experience in the finance domain (nice to have).
