Robotics Intern
Aenrox Engineering
About the Role
The Robotics Intern will support the design, development, and testing of robotic and automation systems in collaboration with engineers and researchers. This is an internship role designed to provide hands-on experience in applied robotics and AI projects, with opportunities to contribute to real-world prototypes and product-focused research. This is a remote role, requiring reliable online collaboration and self-directed work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in prototyping robotic components.
- Implement and debug control algorithms.
- Document experiments.
- Prepare technical reports or presentations.
- Help integrate hardware and software components.
- Perform simulations or bench tests.
- Contribute to refining system performance based on test results.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Foundational skills in robotics, control systems, or mechatronics, including basic understanding of sensors, actuators, and robotic kinematics.
- Programming abilities in languages commonly used in robotics (such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB) and familiarity with relevant libraries or frameworks (e.g., ROS is a plus).
- Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, or Computer Vision concepts as applied to robotics, including data handling and basic model implementation.
- Exposure to embedded systems, microcontrollers, or IoT platforms, with the ability to work with hardware interfaces and communication protocols.
- Experience with engineering design or CAD tools, and an understanding of product development or prototyping workflows.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to document findings clearly and collaborate in a remote team environment.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Interest in applied research, deep tech innovation, and developing deployable solutions rather than purely theoretical projects.
