About the Role

DPV & Associates, Chartered Accountants, is based in T Nagar, Chennai. Our work covers audit and assurance, accounting, taxation, and compliance. We offer aspiring Chartered Accountants practical exposure to client assignments, with guidance from qualified professionals and senior team members. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with statutory, internal, and tax audit assignments, including vouching, verification, sampling, and preparation of working papers.
• Review ledgers, reconcile bank and other account balances, and assist in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Prepare income tax, TDS, and GST computations, reconciliations, and return workings for review by seniors.
• Support routine corporate and other compliance assignments, including document preparation and tracking due dates.
• Collect records from clients, follow up on missing information, and communicate queries clearly and professionally.
• Document findings, flag discrepancies promptly, maintain organised files, and protect confidential client information.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• CA student eligible to commence articleship under the applicable ICAI requirements.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, audit concepts, and direct and indirect taxation.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with Tally or other accounting software is an advantage.
