Sheeter Helper GR2

About the Role

Crane Currency is seeking an Sheeter Helper GR2 to join their Finishing department in Dalton, MA. This is an entry-level, rotating shift position.

Key Responsibilities

• Visually inspect paper for defects and remove paper that does not meet quality standards.
• Operate Counting Machine and Scanning Machine.
• Ensure accurate quantity of paper in each ream by adding/removing paper as needed.
• Prepare and correctly label samples from each skid.
• Take relative humidity readings for each skid and accurately record results.
• Wrap and label each skid.
• Move full skids from the stacking station to the wrapping area.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Proven ability to work as part of a team.
• Willing and able to pass a Power Truck Certification class.
• Ability to read, write, keep neat and accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Industrial experience is preferred.
