About the Role

KBS is seeking dedicated, reliable team members for a Janitorial Crew Member position. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform work according to standard procedure and building operating schedule.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairs, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors in sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of customer and team member restrooms (includes cleaning and monitoring as needed).
• Complete sweeping logs as instructed.
• Operate and disinfect all equipment safely and properly.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to lift and move trash containers up to 49 pounds.
• Frequent walking within and around the facility throughout the shift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe chemical handling, sheets/documents (generally in English; may have Spanish where state requires).
• Background check and drug test required.
• KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software is used for accurate work hour recording, attendance management, required training completion, and distribution of important job information. All non-exempt employees must download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in/out of shifts and breaks.
• Reimbursement for cell phone usage is offered to support the use of personal devices for work tasks, in accordance with applicable local legislation.

Compensation

• Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour
• Available Shifts: M-F 7am-11am
