As a Learning Experience Associate for Build Sprint, you will own the learner experience from cohort enrollment through to certification. Your primary goal is to ensure learners do not get stuck, assisting them with setup, progress, and completion.

Build Sprint is a four-week program of live classes focused on building and selling an AI-native product, culminating in a certification in AI. Participants include product managers, marketers, designers, founders, and engineers with varying levels of AI and technical experience. The program operates on a learn-by-doing model, teaching in response to learner challenges.

How this Works

• During Cohorts (4 weeks):
• Engage daily within the community, including weekends.
• Assist learners in overcoming challenges, facilitate office hours, review submissions, and support progress towards project completion.
• Between Cohorts (approx. 2 months):
• Develop improved examples, checklists, and demos.
• Analyze learner struggles to enhance future cohorts.
• The core program is online; the team works from Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Learner Experience: Manage the learner journey from onboarding to certification, identifying learner progress, sending reminders, and proactively supporting those falling behind.
• Provide First-Line Support: Be actively present in the community daily during cohorts, aiming to answer most questions on the same day and addressing critical blockers within the hour.
• Unblock the Build: Troubleshoot issues related to Git, deployments, API keys, databases, usage limits, or local machine configurations. Focus on finding solutions to keep learners moving forward.
• Turn Blockers into Progress: Conduct small breakout sessions and office hours for learners requiring additional assistance, ensuring no one remains stuck until the next live session.
• Review and Grade Submissions: Evaluate projects against the certification rubric, providing constructive feedback that teaches, highlights successes, identifies missed elements, and suggests next steps.
• Build Examples: Create demos, sample projects, checklists, and walkthroughs to clarify and complement the Programme Director's live sessions.
• Identify Learner Struggles: Before each session, inform the Programme Director about common learner sticking points, using their actual questions to influence future curriculum.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience with AI coding tools
• Comfortable debugging basic issues across Git, deployments, APIs, and databases.
• Clear and concise written communication skills

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience shipping a live project, including side projects.
• Patience and ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical individuals.
• Experience in a role where you naturally helped others overcome challenges, such as completing a Build Sprint, bootcamp, or hackathon.
