About the Role
Responsible for ensuring orders are delivered from Suppliers and Hauliers to their destination on time and efficiently. Collaborates with Suppliers, Hauliers, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Tesco Depots to find more efficient distribution methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Analytical thinking for future forecasts in store allocation, determining the range of stores for allocation within a timeframe, and uplifting excess stock from depots/stores.
- Assist Suppliers, Hauliers, Risk Assessors, and depot managers with data and insights regarding booking slots, legal document updating, and their status for effective delivery planning.
- Partner with the Primary Customer Service team to support Tesco suppliers and Primary hauliers in delivering cost-effective and efficient supply chain solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Suppliers, Hauliers, Distribution Centers, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance teams to improve and deliver great service levels.
- Deliver day-to-day operations, including driver/user/store setup, and respond to customer queries on schedules and reporting.
- Promptly raise vital Purchase Orders in accordance with stakeholder directives and ensure precise and timely receipt of POs for on-time supplier payments.
- Use data to analyze and spot trends to meet KPI targets and make improvements to the network.
- Lead change and development to drive simplification of routines, including databases and supporting tools.
- Consult the supply chain manager to schedule stock delivery slot confirmations based on negotiations with the supplier and Haulier.
- Escalate inquiries to the appropriate team when necessary.
- Generate regular reports and provide insights to Supplier and Depots managers.

Qualifications
- Any Graduate
- Specialization in Supply Chain and Logistics is preferable.
- 0-2 Years of planning role and supply chain experience.
