About the Role

The Cashier role at SKILLIFY is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role involves handling customer transactions, processing payments accurately, issuing receipts, and maintaining cash registers and payment terminals. The Cashier will assist customers with billing queries, provide courteous service, and ensure a smooth checkout experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic mathematics and cash-handling procedures.
• Ability to manage transactions accurately and responsibly.

• Ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.
• Ability to resolve basic inquiries.
• Familiarity with POS systems, payment terminals, and standard billing processes, or willingness to learn quickly.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, receipts, and cash reconciliation.
• Reliability, integrity, and a high level of accountability.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent minimum educational qualification.
• Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or front-desk cashiering is an advantage, but motivated entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Additional training in finance or accounting is a plus.
