About the Role
The Intern role at Matte 7 Architects is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. This role provides hands-on experience in an architectural practice, with guidance from experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with architectural and interior design concepts.
- Preparing drawings and 3D models.
- Supporting project documentation.
- Helping to produce presentations.
- Refining design details.
- Coordinating with team members on residential and commercial projects.
- Conducting design research.
- Organizing project files.
- Contributing to visualization and computational design workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational skills in architectural design, space planning, and understanding of contemporary design principles.
- Proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modeling software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools).
- Ability to contribute to 3D visualization, rendering, and basic graphic design for presentations.
- Interest or exposure to computational design methods and digital workflows.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a closely related field.
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to follow design and documentation standards.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team in an office environment.
- Basic understanding of residential and commercial project processes.
- Prior internship experience is an advantage but not required.
