About the Role

Philo Homes is an AI-powered interior design and furniture platform that helps homeowners visualize, design, and furnish their spaces. We combine AI, computer vision, and 3D reconstruction technologies to transform the home design and furniture shopping experience.

Duration: 3 Months

Compensation: Unpaid Internship

Location: Remote

Eligibility: CPT / OPT candidates are welcome to apply. Fluent in both English and Mandarin.

What You'll Do

• Develop and improve computer vision models for room understanding and 3D reconstruction.
• Work on furniture detection, segmentation, and recognition from images and videos.
• Explore 2D-to-3D reconstruction and 3D object modeling workflows.
• Optimize AI models for accuracy, performance, and real-world applications.
• Collaborate with our AI and engineering team to integrate computer vision solutions into our product.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Background in Computer Science, Computer Vision, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Knowledge of computer vision techniques, including object detection, image segmentation, or 3D vision.
• Experience with OpenCV, YOLO, NeRF, Gaussian Splatting, or 3D reconstruction is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work in a collaborative startup environment.
