Management Trainee, CS/CA/CMA

About the Role

The Management Trainee – CS/CA/CMA will support in areas such as corporate compliance, accounting, taxation, and financial reporting. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and review of statutory documents.
• Maintain records and registers.
• Support audit and assurance activities.
• Help prepare client reports and MIS.
• Conduct research on applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
• Help implement internal controls and process improvements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
• Comfort with accounting or ERP software.
• Willingness to learn new digital tools.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed CS, CA, or CMA.
• Strong foundation in accounting, taxation, corporate law, and financial management.
• Ability to analyze financial data, prepare working papers, and support audits, compliance reviews, and statutory filings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation, report drafting, and professional correspondence.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under supervision.
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, accept feedback constructively, and adapt to structured training and periodic evaluations.
• Interest in building a long-term career in professional services, corporate advisory, or compliance.
• Internship or article-ship experience is an advantage.
