About the Role
The Software Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support Jobfixnow’s recruitment and career services platform. This is a full-time remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient code.
- Implement back-end features and APIs.
- Resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to deliver user-focused functionality.
- Review requirements.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Improve system performance and security.
- Contribute to documentation and technical standards.
- Adhere to development best practices.
- Proactively own assigned projects.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Software Development and Programming.
- Experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and server-side frameworks.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with collaborative development workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their practical application.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to debug and optimize code.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Relevant academic background (e.g., degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field) or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
- Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices is an advantage.
