About the Role
This role involves providing nursing care within a residential psychiatric care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centred nursing care to residents.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients' physical and mental health.
- Identify and promptly report changes in patient condition and clinical emergencies.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, medication charts, and shift handover documentation.
- Support patient safety, infection control, and therapeutic activities.
- Coordinate with psychiatrists and the multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Uphold patient dignity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and emotional maturity.
- Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts.
- Ability to work effectively in a residential psychiatric care setting.
Qualifications
- GNM / BSc Nursing with valid nursing council registration.
- Specialization in Psychiatric Nursing / Mental Health Nursing is an added advantage.
