About STRIV

STRIV is a Boston-based sports technology startup building foot-level movement intelligence. Our sensor-powered insoles measure how runners interact with the ground—tracking impact, loading patterns, asymmetry, and fatigue to help them better understand their movement. We've raised from top-tier investors and recently launched our next-generation product.

The Role

We're looking for a Growth Intern who is genuinely passionate about running, deeply curious about people, and excited about figuring out how products grow. You will work closely with our team to understand runners, develop growth ideas, test them, and learn from the results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand runners by talking to users, joining run clubs, and identifying what matters to them.
  • Build growth experiments by creating hypotheses, launching, measuring, and iterating.
  • Create compelling content by turning insights into shareable stories.
  • Explore the running community by discovering opportunities with clubs, coaches, athletes, creators, and brands.
  • Understand the numbers beyond views and clicks to grasp drivers of interest, purchases, and engagement.
  • Challenge our thinking by bringing fresh perspectives and identifying overlooked opportunities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • Genuine interest and passion for running.
  • Familiarity with running products, communities, and platforms like Strava or Garmin.
  • Curiosity about biomechanics, performance, training, and sports technology.
  • Ability to understand diverse runner motivations.
  • Critical thinking skills and willingness to question assumptions.
  • Natural curiosity about human behavior.
  • Analytical and creative mindset.
  • Initiative and problem-solving ability.
  • Clear communication skills, capable of simplifying complex ideas.
  • Focus on outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Students from any major are welcome.
  • Traditional marketing experience is not required.
  • Particular interest in candidates who have initiated their own projects, communities, newsletters, social accounts, or small businesses.
