Sales Development Representative

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to identify prospective customers, generate qualified leads, and create new sales opportunities for the Account Executive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Research prospective customers and key decision-makers.
• Generate leads through outbound prospecting and account research.
• Conduct cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
• Qualify prospects and understand their business needs.
• Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations.
• Partner with Account Executives to develop sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate prospect information and activity in Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Use tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales development targets.
• Represent the company at conferences and industry events when required.
• Travel approximately 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of outbound sales experience in an SDR, BDR, inside sales, or similar role.
• Experience with cold outreach and prospecting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working toward sales quotas and targets.
• Strong organization, persistence, and attention to detail.
• Startup or high-growth technology experience is a plus.
• B2B SaaS, technology, or technical sales experience is preferred.
• Background in chemistry, materials science, engineering, or another technical field is a plus.

Compensation: $50,000–$70,000 base / $80,000–$100,000 OTE
