About the Role
- We are looking for a fresh law graduate to join our Legal Department as a Legal Trainee.
- The candidate will work under the guidance of senior members of the Legal Department and assist with legal research, drafting, review of legal documents and other legal assignments as required.
- This is a trainee position and not an internship.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in legal research and analysis of applicable laws, regulations and judgments.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal notices, letters, agreements and other legal documents.
- Assist in handling and organising legal and litigation-related matters.
- Support the Legal Department in other legal assignments as required.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Law (LLB) degree is mandatory.
- Candidates who are still pursuing/appearing for LL.B. will not be considered.
- Fresh law graduates only.
- Minimum 60% marks in LL.B. and passed in the first attempt.
- Good understanding of legal concepts and principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Quick learner with the ability to understand and adapt to new assignments.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work within timelines.
- Knowledge of Marathi - speaking and reading - will be preferred.
