Warehouse Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Unloads and breaks down freight (e.g., trucks, trailers, rail cars)
• Sorts and organizes freight
• Operates various types of material handling equipment
• Sorts, repacks, and labels freight
• Identifies unusable pallets
• Removes items from sorting bins, scans, and places them onto a conveyor belt
• Removes items from packing bins, scans items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produces a packing list, and bags items
• Operates warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures (e.g., bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers)
• Maintains work area in a clean and hazard-free condition
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic ability to read, count, and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
• Material handling equipment certification preferred (i.e., electric pallet jack)
• Safety shoes required
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Effective communication skills

Qualifications

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
• Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Overtime/weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes

Pay and Shift

• Pay Range: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on productivity)
• Shift: Third Shift – Monday to Sunday, 11:00 PM – Finish
