PTP SME, Accounts Payable

About the Role

We are looking for a PTP SME with experience in Accounts Payable, month-end close, and client management. The role focuses on ensuring timely service delivery, process compliance, and effective stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Accounts Payable.
• Manage end-to-end AP activities, including invoice processing, payments, vendor management, and query resolution.
• Support month-end close activities and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Perform invoice reconciliations and resolve exceptions efficiently.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to address operational issues and improve service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with process controls, policies, and audit requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and Procure-to-Pay operations.
• Strong understanding of invoice processing, payment processing, vendor reconciliation, and query management.
• Experience supporting month-end close activities and reporting.
• Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a Shared Services or BPO environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce required, MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
• Experience managing client escalations and supporting governance calls.
