Entry Level Technical Recruiter

About the Role

Optomi has launched a new program called the Acadomi, designed for recent college graduates to jump-start their careers in the IT staffing industry. This program offers hands-on training, mentorship, and growth opportunities. Participants will work full-time with seasoned recruiters and account executives to build a foundation in IT recruiting and account management. The program has a January 11, 2027 start date.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in an informative 3-month training program with experienced Recruiters and Account Executives.
• Work closely with a Team Lead to perfect skills in sourcing, interviewing, and submitting candidates.
• Gain experience in cold calling, interacting, and prospecting new business.
• Develop a foundation in Optomi’s recruiting and sales process.
• Use various job platforms to search for and reach out to qualified candidates.
• Conduct phone interviews to assess candidate technical experience.
• Format resumes and submittal packages to highlight candidate skills.
• Prepare candidates for interviews through in-depth discussions about potential questions and technical experience.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to negotiate pay rates for consultants and clients.
• Meet minimum weekly metrics including phone interviews and submittals to open jobs.
