Junior Interior Designer

About the Role

Livingque is a growing interior design studio focused on creating functional, modern spaces for residential and commercial clients. The studio values creativity, professionalism, and teamwork, offering junior talent opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow in a dynamic environment.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Interior Designer, based in Bengaluru South.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior designers in developing interior concepts.
• Prepare mood boards.
• Assist with space planning for residential and commercial projects.
• Create and update drawings.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Select finishes and furnishings.
• Prepare presentations for client meetings.
• Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation aligns with plans.
• Document project progress.
• Maintain organized project files.
• Collaborate with the design team.
• Follow project timelines.
• Contribute creative ideas while adhering to budget and quality standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.
• Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Skills in Interior Design and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection for residential and commercial spaces.
• Skills in Space Planning to optimize layouts, circulation, and functional use of interior spaces.
• Skills in Architecture concepts and an understanding of building elements relevant to interior projects.
• Skills in preparing and reading Construction Drawings, including plans, sections, and details.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Interest in contemporary design trends, sustainability, and material innovation is beneficial.
