About the Role
The Volunteer will support the Training & Placement Cell in organizing placement drives, internship fairs, and career guidance sessions on campus. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bathinda.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate event logistics.
- Assist with communication to students and recruiters.
- Maintain basic records and lists.
- Disseminate updates about opportunities.
- Assist in preparing simple promotional materials.
- Guide students during employer visits.
- Collect feedback after events to improve future activities.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with students, faculty, and recruiters.
- Basic organizational and coordination skills, including event support, time management, and attention to detail.
- Fundamental computer skills, such as using office productivity tools (documents, spreadsheets, presentations) and email.
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in teams and support multiple activities simultaneously.
- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and interest in career development, training, or student engagement.
- Current students or recent graduates of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University are preferred.
- Prior participation in campus activities or student clubs is an advantage.
