About the Role

Laneway is a next-generation Business Management Consulting company focused on driving growth through consulting, technology, and media services. This is a hybrid Social Media Manager Intern position based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. The intern will assist in managing and growing Laneway’s social media presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling social media posts.
• Monitoring social media engagement and responding to audience interactions.
• Supporting content strategy.
• Drafting and refining social media copy.
• Optimizing posts for reach and performance.
• Collaborating with consulting and technology teams to showcase client work and company initiatives.
• Tracking key performance metrics.
• Preparing basic performance reports.
• Suggesting improvements based on data and trends.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in Social Media Marketing.
• Skills in Social Media Optimization (SMO).
• Strong Communication and Writing skills.
• Skills in Content Strategy and basic content planning.
• Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook) and analytics tools is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup from Bengaluru.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Interest in business, startups, and technology-driven brands.
• Prior internship or project experience in marketing or social media is a plus.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field is preferred.
