Georgia-Pacific is hiring motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join their team as Production Associates at their facility in West Chester, Ohio - Trey. Salary
- Starting pay is $23.00 and up depending on experience.
- 2nd and 3rd shift differential is $2.00 per hour.
- Ability to increase compensation based on skills and contribution to plant performance.
Shift
- Candidates must be flexible and available to work first, second, or third shift as needed, including overtime, holidays, and weekends.
- Currently hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift.
- Orientation will be on 1st shift (7 am-3 pm); permanent shift assignment follows orientation.
- West Chester - Trey operates on a point-based attendance program.
Shift Hours
- 2nd shift: Monday – Friday 3 pm-11 pm; weekends and overtime as needed.
- 3rd shift: Monday – Friday 11 pm-7 am; weekends and overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
- Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems.
- Produce work that meets established quality requirements.
- Maintain responsibility for the quality and accuracy of work performed.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Perform basic asset care duties, including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of the work area.
- Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
- Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
- Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day in a loud/noisy, industrial, high-volume environment.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, warehouse, or military environment.
- Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device.
