Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and wiring.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical panels, motors, transformers, lighting systems, and control circuits.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Inspect electrical components such as circuit breakers, switches, relays, and contactors.
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing equipment such as multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, and voltage testers.
- Replace defective electrical components.
- Install and connect electrical cables, conduits, control panels, and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain power distribution systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, company policies, and local electrical codes.
- Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance activities.
- Assist in equipment commissioning, shutdown maintenance, and plant troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams, engineers, and supervisors.
- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.
- Maintain proper housekeeping of work areas and tools.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe work practices.
