Process Associate, US Medical Billing

About the Role

SunKnowledge Inc. is hiring enthusiastic and dedicated candidates for its US Healthcare Medical Billing process. This opportunity is open to both freshers and experienced professionals who are interested in building a career in the international healthcare KPO industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle patient demographic entry, medical billing, claims submission and payment posting.
• Perform insurance eligibility verification and prior authorization.
• Monitor denied claims, coordinate appeals and follow up with US insurance companies.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) and support revenue cycle management activities.
• Coordinate with US-based healthcare providers, doctors and insurance companies through calls, emails and live chats.
• Ensure accuracy and quality while handling healthcare-related information.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
• Comfortable working in a permanent rostered night-shift environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum 12th Pass.
• Age Limit: Up to 35 years.
• Candidates currently pursuing regular/full-time academic courses are not eligible.

Salary & Compensation

• Gross Salary: 15,000 – 19,000 per month
• Salary will be determined based on relevant experience and eligibility.
• Important Experience Policy: Candidates claiming experienced salary slabs must provide valid previous employment documents, including Offer Letter and Relieving/Release Letter. Employment tenure of less than one complete year will be considered under the fresher salary slab.

Transportation Coverage

Company drop facility is available within the following designated boundaries:

• North Kolkata: Madhyamgram Chowmatha, Sodepur, Dakshineswar, Bally and Bally Halt.
• Howrah: Howrah Station, Howrah Maidan and Mandirtala.
• South Kolkata: Behala Chowrasta, Taratala Auto Stand, Garia Station and Dhalai Bridge.
• East Kolkata: Up to Sapuipara/Sapoorji.
• Central Kolkata: Khidirpur (Fancy Market).
• Candidates residing beyond these locations must be able to arrange their own transportation.

Interview Details

• Venue: Omega Tower, 11th Floor, Bengal Intelligent Park, GP Block, Sector V, Bidhannagar, Kolkata – 700091. Landmark: Near RDB Cinema.
• Reporting Time: 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM.
• Interview Process:
• Initial Screening / Group Discussion
• Written Assessment (55 Marks)
• Basic Typing Test
• Final Operations Round (5:00 PM – 8:30 PM)
• Candidates must be prepared to spend the entire day at the interview venue.
