Early Careers: Embedded Software Developer at Fortinet
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software components on current and future products.
- Responsible for the development of networking related features of the FortiSwitch product line.
- Use AI efficiently to help development and testing.
- Hands-on bug fixing for current products.
- Implement software features of high quality and on schedule.
- Communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong C/C++ and Linux experience is essential.
- Fundamental knowledge in networking.
- Familiarity with socket programming.
- Knowledge of general QA procedures and methodologies as well as software development fundamentals.
- Knowledge of scripting languages: Shell and Python.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; M.S. preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship.
