Robotics AI Humanoid Internship
SKXYWTF
About the Role
We are hiring Robotics AI Interns for a fully remote position. We are building DEV 0.0, a humanoid robot developed entirely in simulation before any hardware exists. This robot reasons in language, perceives its surroundings, maps and navigates space, and acts, all within a safety layer. The code written is the product, and interns will own a slice of the system, building on open-source robotics foundations. The primary measure of success is whether the code actually runs.
WHO WE WANT
- Ability to take an open-source robotics or AI component and get it running independently from the documentation.
- Write code that works and be able to demonstrate it (e.g., output, a short clip, a reproducible run).
- Honesty about accomplishments, limitations, and what has been achieved.
- Ability to work at a steady, consistent pace without external pressure.
- Commitment to doing work properly; careless or copied work is considered less valuable than slow work.
THE TRACKS (You will own one)
- Simulation & embodiment
- Perception & sensing
- Mapping & navigation
- Control & behaviour
- Safe control & grounding
- Voice & command
- Embedded & hardware I/O
HOW IT WORKS
- Submit your work: a GitHub profile, a resume, or a brief description of your built projects. Links to working projects are highly valued over skill lists.
- A short warm-up task will be provided on your likely track, to be completed in a private repository.
- Successful completion of original work earns a confirmed seat, track assignment, and team access. Progress is based on steady, consistent advancement, not fixed deadlines. The first milestone should be completed properly and shared when ready.
- A mutual NDA + IP agreement will be signed before any private access is granted, protecting both your work and ours.
Interested candidates should send their GitHub or portfolio, the preferred track, and the project they are most proud of.
