Key Responsibilities

• Conduct operational, financial, process, and systems audits to review and appraise activities, systems, and controls.
• Identify accounting and auditing issues and collaborate with the audit in-charge for resolution.
• Perform substantive testing of appliances as per the audit plan and document all work.
• Identify improvements for control systems and procedures.
• Present audit reports with clear recommendations to management.
• Prepare and maintain statutory books of accounts.
• Perform audit, reconciliation of accounts receivable & payable, and finalization of accounts.
• Assist seniors in reviewing financial statements and preparing audit reports, management comment letters, and management representation letters.

Skills and Attributes For Success

• Strong knowledge of auditing & accounting standards.
• Prior experience handling statutory audit assignments.
• Ability to prioritize work across multiple assignments and manage ambiguity.
• Strong verbal and communication skills.
• Clarity of thoughts and assertiveness.
• Effectiveness and creativity in written expression (logical, readable, concise).
• Good presentation skills and prompt responsiveness.

• Ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
