About the Role
The Company Apprentice role at KONE focuses on improving the flow of urban life within the elevator and escalator industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain basic knowledge and experience of manufacturing/operational processes.
- Develop business understanding of a specific area, including economical evaluations.
- Provide feedback both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrate problem-solving ability.
- Learn and adhere to performance measures in:
- Safety: Including IIFR, lost time due to injury, timely reporting of safety measures, and safety audits.
- Quality & Environment: Including feedbacks from next process phases (EFR, FYCOR), FPY of own production processes, rework/production scraps reduction, and environmental targets.
- Time: Including Complete on Time (COT), schedule adherence, and reaction time for feedback orders.
- Cost: Including volume per shift (productivity and efficiency), optimization of direct working hours, and contributing ideas and suggestions.

- Basic knowledge and experience of manufacturing/operational process.
- Business understanding about his specific area (also based on the economical evaluations).
- Ability to provide feedback both orally and in writing.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Basic English knowledge.
- Computer skills.
