About the Role

Seeking an Associate to join Citi’s Commercial Bank (CCB) within the growing Healthcare Industry Vertical. This role supports new business development and day-to-day management of existing relationships within companies in the Medical Device, Tools & Diagnostics, Life Sciences, Digital Health, and Healthcare Services sub-segments. The role offers significant experience in debt, equity, and financial solutions across Citi's global network, including cash management, rates, and FX.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Healthcare industry expert with deep knowledge of portfolio companies.
• Function as a key team member supporting senior bankers with new client acquisition, client relationship management, and strategic initiatives.
• Drive new business generation in partnership with senior bankers.
• Support the credit approval process by coordinating with internal partners and ensuring adherence to policies and processes.
• Develop relationships with key partners across the Citi platform to meet client needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies/guidelines.
• Assess risk in business decisions, considering firm reputation, client assets, and adherence to laws, rules, regulations, and ethical judgment.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Healthcare industry experience with proficient knowledge of banking products.
• Knowledge of accounting, finance, and credit.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Excellent analytical and modeling skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Quality analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Ability to secure and/or maintain SIE, 63, and 79 securities licenses.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of related work experience.
• Bachelor's/University degree.
