About the Role
youbloom is seeking a highly motivated Systems Administrator Intern to join our dynamic IT team. This is a learning-focused internship offering hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development.
- Internship Start Season: Fall, Spring, Summer, Winter, Flexible
- Internship Duration: 3 - 6 months
- Days Required: Monday - Friday
- Hours Required: 10 - 20 Hours per week
- Workplace Requirements: Remote
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers.
- Manage and maintain system architecture to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and implement shell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide solutions to enhance connectivity.
- Monitor system performance, conduct regular backups, and ensure data integrity.
- Maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and updates.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong understanding of system architecture.
- Strong understanding of computer networking.
- Familiarity with various scripting languages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
