About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented POS / EDC Machine Sales Executive responsible for acquiring new merchants by promoting and selling POS (Point of Sale) and EDC (Electronic Data Capture) machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit retail shops, supermarkets, restaurants, medical stores, petrol pumps, and other business establishments to promote POS/EDC machines.
- Identify and acquire new merchants for POS machine installations.
- Explain product features, benefits, transaction charges, rental plans, and payment solutions to merchants.
- Generate leads through field visits, references, and market activities.
- Convince merchants to adopt digital payment solutions and POS machines.
- Complete merchant onboarding, KYC documentation, and application formalities.
- Coordinate with the operations team for POS machine installation and activation.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with merchants to convert potential leads into business.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales and merchant acquisition targets.
- Maintain daily field visit reports and sales MIS.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants.

Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience in field sales.
- Experience in POS/EDC machine sales, merchant acquisition, QR code sales, payment solutions, or banking sales will be preferred.
- Good communication and convincing skills.
- Ability to approach and onboard new merchants.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
