About the Role
The Data Analyst Intern will support the analysis of healthcare data to generate meaningful insights for internal teams and clients. This is an internship role and will be performed fully remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare datasets.
- Perform exploratory data analysis.
- Build basic data models.
- Assist in creating reports and dashboards.
- Interpret trends and identify patterns.
- Present findings in clear, concise formats for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional team members.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Excel
- SQL
- Proficiency with at least one analytics or visualization tool (e.g., Python, R, Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and a solid foundation in Data Analytics.
- Practical knowledge of Statistics for data interpretation and hypothesis testing.
- Experience or familiarity with Data Modeling concepts and basic database structures.
- Clear Communication skills to explain analytical findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Interest in healthcare analytics and willingness to learn domain-specific concepts is an advantage.
